Payments.

Kemp Allied Health will send invoices after the therapist has provided services. Payments are applied (depending on how the plan categories are managed) by either one, or a combination of the below:

If you are self-managed:

  • Kemp Allied Health will provide you with an invoice for the Supports;
  • All invoices must be paid at time of service or two (2) days after receiving the service;
  • You are solely responsible for making a Payment Request to receive the funds under your NDIS Plan/NDIS Budget;
  • Should funds not be available due to exhausted funds or expired plans, the participant acknowledges they are liable for payment of the services rendered.
  • Kemp Allied Health reserve the right to reduce the Supports or stop providing the Supports to you if payment is not in accordance with this Agreement and we may refer you to a collection agency.

If you are plan-managed:

  • Kemp Allied Health will send invoices to your Plan Manager for payment after providing those supports.
  • The Plan Manager must pay the invoices within seven (7) business days.
  • Should funds be declined due to exhausted funds or expired plans, the participant acknowledges they are liable for payment of the services rendered. Kemp Allied Health do not have visibility over the allocation or usage of funds to manage budgets.

If your funds are NDIA-managed, any Supports to you will be out of pocket as we are not a registered NDIS provider.

Cancellation Policy.

  • Cancellations less than two (2) business days before the time of your appointment incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Failure to attend an appointment without providing prior notice incurs a 100% cancellation fee.
  • The only exception is the Practical Driving Assessment within the Occupational Therapy Driving Assessment requires seven (7) business days.
  • In exceptional circumstances, Kemp Allied Health may, in our sole discretion, agree to waive all or part of your cancellation fee, but it is to the discretion of the Director/s.

Travel.

Travel costing is determined via the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limit, charged in 10-minute increments based at the therapist’s hourly rate. This is capped at 30 minutes in Modified Monash Model (MMM) MM1-3 areas and 60 minutes in MMM4-5 areas (Note: the relevant MMM classification is the classification of the area where the client is when the support is delivered).

You can confirm your MMM rating of a location using the Health Workforce Locator on the Government Department of Health’s Website - https://www.health.gov.au/resources/apps-and-tools/health-workforce-locator/health-workforce-locator#hwc-map

In addition to the above travel, therapists can also claim for the time spent travelling from the last participant to their usual place of work. The maximum amount of travel time that they can claim for the time spent on return travel is 30 minutes in MMM1-3 areas and 60 minutes in MMM4-5 areas.
